Neo-Nazi from Stoke is Behind ‘Migrant Hotel’ Protests in Cannock

A neo-Nazi from Stoke-on-Trent is behind a ‘migrant hotel’ protest in Cannock, Staffordshire. Connor Ramirez Marlow is the administrator of the ‘Cannock says no to migrant hotels’ Facebook group and organiser of an upcoming protest in Cannock town centre.

Originally from the market town of Newton-le-Willows in Merseyside, Marlow, who now lives in Stoke-on-Trent, is an active member of fascist party Patriotic Alternative (PA) and has been sharing their propaganda in the Facebook group he runs and others.

Marlow has been pictured attending PA’s national events, including a conference addressed by a speaker from a neo-Nazi group banned in Finland for its violence. Marlow has also appeared in numerous photographs of events organised by PA’s West Midlands region.

During PA’s national month of action last April, in which they distributed leaflets across the country promoting conspiracy theories about ‘demographic replacement’, Marlow handed out over 1,000 leaflets and was added to an online ‘hall of fame’.

Marlow is an example of a new generation of British fascists who are no longer trying to hide their identities and are now doing community organising. Marlow and PA have been involved in protests against migrants being housed in Staffordshire since last year.
